DEF CON 33

Design Concept | The cyber alley
For the 2025 event, the goal was to highlight the history of Hack The Box by showcasing a collage of all the events the brand has created over time. The concept was developed around the idea of an urban alley, using a street-style aesthetic filled with layered posters and visuals reminiscent of graffiti.

Activations
- Photo opportunity
The design was also intended to create an engaging photo opportunity, encouraging attendees to interact with the space and share their experience on site and social media.

- Spin the Wheel Challenge
To drive engagement, we invited influencers to participate in an interactive challenge by spinning a wheel that determined which cybersecurity task they would attempt. They could choose to solve the challenge on their own or collaborate with their online communities in real time.

LeHACK

Paris

LeHACK is France's oldest and largest non-profit cybersecurity convention.

Design Concept | RED vs. BLUE
For the 2025 event, the goal was to highlight the gamified side of Hack The Box while attracting visitors to the booth without having on-site staff. The concept was built around the classic “red vs blue” cybersecurity dynamic. The visual approach, inspired by a Mortal Kombat-style street fight scene, was a blend of competitive gaming energy with an urban, arcade aesthetic and once again older events of HTB.

Activation
- Arcade Machine
This was achieved by installing an arcade machine that invited attendees to compete in classic arcade games and share their scores with the wider community, creating a sense of competition. Alongside this, an information stand with flyers provided visitors with key details about the platform.

it-sa Expo&Congress

Nuremberg

it-sa Expo&Congress in Nuremberg is Europe's largest trade fair for IT security and one of the most important dialogue platforms for IT security solutions.

Design Concept | B2B approach
For this event, the goal was to appeal to a more senior audience by showcasing Hack The Box’s collaborations with notable clients while introducing a refreshed visual identity. A key focus was adding a stronger human element to the design, helping to build a sense of trust, credibility, and maturity around the brand.
The booth was structured around 2 zones, the conversation zone and the game zone. We also had presence in areas outside of the booth limits and around the expo.

Activation
- Claw machine
This area followed a “red vs blue” competitive concept and featured a claw machine activation, where participants could win branded swag. The balance between professional presentation and interactive elements allowed the booth to communicate both expertise and approachability.

HTB Christmas Party

Athens

Internal Event

Design Concept | Pixel Christmas
The concept was to blend the festive spirit of the holiday season with a nostalgic arcade aesthetic for Hack The Box’s annual Christmas party in the Athens offices.
The event combined classic Christmas elements, such as bells, trees, and snow, with pixel-inspired visuals, creating a playful and immersive environment. Guests were invited to enjoy custom cocktails, games, and food, and a photo booth with interactive features like photo props and an arcade element photo frame. The result was a unique celebration that merged retro gaming culture with a warm, social holiday atmosphere and a goodbye to our old offices.
